If the name FARSA is new to you, you have probably recently joined the airline industry as a flight attendant.
If so, congratulations on your appointment to a position that is highly sought after and rewarding. It is also, as you will find, a demanding occupation.
FARSA, the Flight Attendants & Related Services Association (NZ) Incorporated, exists to further your interests in the workplace. We work constructively with the airline employers as far as possible to resolve problems as they arise. We employ a team of people for you if you have any problems in connection with your work. Our industrial team also works hard at negotiation time - usually every two years - when employment agreements expire. We consult with members to establish the kinds of changes to agreement that they need, then bargain hard to achieve them. Finally we supply a lot of 'non traditional' services. These range from Income Insurance to other financial services.
